I'm just back from a very enjoyable Derwentside Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

It's a great place for getting things into perspective.

As you sit in quiet at the Grotto, you can pray and reflect in a deep-down way.

I marvelled at all those in Lourdes, on our coach and back at home we call Carers.

You realize that they are the true aristocrats in God's Kingdom, as they should

always be in our society.

Ours was a balanced pilgrimage - lots of good eating, drinking,singing, laughter,

caring and praying.

i hope we've brought the joy and compassion of Lourdes back home with us.
